It's showtime at Art from the Margins!
AFTM's Ekka/show/fair themed exhibition coincides with the dates of the Royal Queensland Show (Ekka). Although Ekka 2020 has been cancelled due to the Coronvirus, AFTM invites you to experience artists' interpretations, imaginings and memories of the annual RNA event.
The exhibition showcases ‘Ekka’ themed visual art in various media including but not limited to painting, drawing, sculpture, installation and digital media.
Themes include all that is quintessentially ‘Ekka’ from agriculture to animal shows, entertainment, show rides, theatre, carnival atmosphere and food.
