Collection: Underwater

At Wesley Arts, we’re aware of the wide-ranging benefits of art and nature on our health and wellbeing. Our visual and performing art sessions bring people together to develop art and life skills while gaining an improved sense of independence and community. To celebrate this, we hold two major group exhibitions every year; where we encourage participants from all our workshops across Brisbane to create a new piece of artwork focused on a theme.  

Underwater is Wesley Arts 2024 mid-year group exhibition celebrating all things aquatic - Fish, seaweed, mermaids, the Titanic... You’ll be “Underwater” during this vibrant community art show, held in alignment with World Ocean Day.  

World Ocean Day advocates for collective action to promote a healthy ocean and address climate stability. Recognized by the United Nations and driven by the World Ocean Day Youth Advisory Council, this global event unites people worldwide to safeguard and restore our blue planet.
