About the Artist
As an artist, I have always had a creative streak in me, and I have been fascinated with photography from a young age.
I am world travelled and because of this, I have started to capture through photography the urban and natural landscapes. I believe that my view of the world is unique and can inspire others.
Originally born in Poland, I moved to Australia at the age of 4, via Italy. Ever since, I’ve gone back and forth. In 2009, I moved back to Australia after living in Europe, and decided on settling in Brisbane, as my sister lived here at the time.
Whilst getting acquainted with Brisbane, I became involved with AFTM in 2010, and have been involved since then.
My first art award was the Heiser Gallery Emerging Artist Award in 2011. In 2017, I was a finalist in Moreton Bay Region Art Prize. I have exhibited extensively and participated in many commissioned photography projects. In 2018, I was awarded the Art From The Margins Highly Commended Award in their Outsider Art Awards.
Even though I don’t notice everything, I still stop and smell the roses, and through my photography, people can notice and appreciate the little things as well.
