Suzanne Dang
Creating Bipolar 2022
acrylic paint and black maker on canvas
Creating Bipolar invites the viewer to explore the notion that it takes many people (or ‘hands’ as seen in the painting) to recover from mental illnesses. The flowers represent that it’s possible to ‘bloom’ during mental illnesses and that there will be good days ahead of time.
