Maria del Rosario Inferianio De Rodriguez | El Salvador
My name is Rosario Rodriguez. I came to Australia in 1989 with help of the U.N. Humanitarian program seeking a safe place due to more than 20 years of civil war in El Salvador. The Lord has given me a special gift and been able to nurture after I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005. I felt in a state of depression and at this point that someone recommended I find a let out. I was drawn to art in particular. It has helped me a great deal, therefore I intend to share this experience in the hope to help those who feel the same as I once did vulnerable and lost. I believe these lessons learnt come mainly from Saint Oscar Romero, voice of the voiceless. I am a volunteer at the Romero Centre in Dutton Park, Qld.
