About Neil Bates
I have been attending photo group at AFTM for over 3 years. I enjoy the social aspect of the group and going places to take photos. Since 2001, I have a been painting graffiti. I try to include street art into my photographs. I identify as someone with a disability, I have a chronic illness and mental illness. I have participated in art in some form my whole life and it is part of who I am, allowing me to express my creativity. My job involves helping people, as I work as a NDIS support worker for a mental health service.
