Cranes symbolise change and progress to me. They are kinetic sculptures of the urban landscape, making dramatic patterns against the Brisbane sky. I admire the crane drivers and construction workers busily transforming the city. I love the banners that fly from the cranes because they express the workers collective interest in equal rights.
