About Jared Mycyk

Jared is an artist with an extraordinary imagination who has been drawing since before he can remember. His artwork produces characters and animals inspired by fantasy books, movies and pop culture that border on the surreal. 

Jared works mostly in pencil and watercolour, although he also experiments with three dimensional mediums. He is about to start experimenting with building 3D models using Pal Tiya clay through his workshops at AFTM. Jared says, "When I'm creating art, I feel totally calm, noting else is going on in my world."
