Annika Strand
Magic Movements 2022
oil on canvas
Magic Movements is an artistic representation of Annika’s uncontrollable movements. Annika was born with a disability called Cerebral Palsy which has left her with uncontrollable movements throughout her body. All the marks that you can see are a replication of those movements she experiences. Here, they’re turned into something beautiful to experiment with rather than something to struggle against.
