While attempting to avoid social media platforms, a friend asked the artist to connect via a lesser known social media platform.
The same day the artist’s random weave manifested into a platform.
Then one of the artist’s decorative elements, hatched a plan to show off its interior having electronic components within, and a capacitor poked itself out of the crotchet.
Thus, in the impedance measures of server farms exists a capacity that online we find, OMG, LOL and other modes of exit.
About Alexandra Jack
Part of my DNA is being creative. When I am out in the world, I use my creative perspective to inform how I can incorporate the things I see into an artwork. I find that my head is full of creative ideas.
I build artworks layer upon layer and take things that are not considered art media and give them a new lease of life as part of an artwork. Some of the things I give a new lease of life are industrial discards from laser cutting and 3D printing. In the past, I have used things from nature such as gum nuts. I also use toys and paint them to change their look and then incorporate them in an artwork.
If it wasn’t for my creativity I would not be able to cope with the chronic pain that I have, and I would not be the person I am today.
