The crow is a special and sacred bird in my aboriginal culture, we call them Warrdong in our language, we believe they carry the spirit of our ancestors.
[About the artist] Kym Lee
My name is Kym Lee,
I am a proud Aboriginal woman from the Wakka Wakka nation. Both my parents were part of the Stolen Generation. I have been an artist all my life. I have studied for a Bachelor at QLD college of Arts at Morningside. I also studied a Diploma of Fine Arts in Ipswich. Charles Blackman and Robert Dickerson are my inspiration for my art, I like to paint in their style of art.
