I like to paint birds as a symbol of freedom, something that I value very much because I haven’t always felt free. When I’m painting I am relaxed and free. This artwork celebrates the beautiful shape of a bird, during daytime and night-time.

Christine has painted for 15 years. She enjoys working in acrylic and challenges herself to create simplified compositions with playful colour combinations.
