I had quite a few dreams and I was on my way to their realisation. This is the second watercolour painting of the project representing a phase of my personal life as a disabled person and the academic success. This second phase of my continuum for Shine Loud is about the academic success. Dyslexia is a neurologic disorder and has many learning implications.

Dream Big is about the beginning of a huge challenged journey that brought me from North America to Mesoamerica to East Africa and all the way to Australia with an incursion of a few years South East Asia before settling in Queensland. The symbolic in Dream Big is strong and I could develop a full artist talk on that piece only. The clothes line / film continuum is there as a symbol of my journey and of the cinematographic dream in my head.

About Daniele Lamarche-Sarvia:

She has won prizes, awards, competitions and received several grants and mentions over the years.
