Noradrenaline and Adrenaline are hormones that create stress in the body preparing you to survive by 'the fight or flight' instinct. As PTSD consumes the life of Felicity, she suffers from Adrenaline overload, and feel it encases and surrounds her daily
A self portrait was printed on fibre paste skinning set in muslin cloth, then the chemical formulas for Noradrenaline have been embroidered with pearl beads.
The soft elegance of the pearls belie the darker nature of the hormone and the soft delicate but frayed surface of the muslin represents the stress within.
